Job Summary
Design, implement, and optimize enterprise search solutions and manage Elasticsearch clusters to ensure availability, scalability, and relevance. Architect and maintain self-hosted Elasticsearch clusters with node configuration, replication, and sharding; implement backup and recovery for Elastic indices. Develop and optimize semantic search capabilities using ML models (e.g., BERT-based ELSER); enhance search relevancy through role-based indexing and boosting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Elastic with knowledge-management tools and improve user experience. Monitor cluster performance and apply best practices for scalability and observability. The role is within Evernorth Health Services, focusing on delivering innovative search solutions across a healthcare technology stack.
