Job Summary
Design large-scale data systems processing billions of events daily, collaborating with engineers and product managers to build scalable, production-ready solutions. Develop and optimize backend services in Python and Scala, ensuring reliability through automated testing, monitoring, and continuous integration. Contribute to code reviews, architecture discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions while shaping the future of the data platform. Manage Clean Rooms for secure advertiser insights, optimize the Audience Targeting Engine, and enhance the Reach Algorithm for third-party cookie-free measurement. Requires 3+ years of experience with Python/Scala, data engineering, and cloud platforms (AWS), plus Polish language proficiency. Hybrid schedule includes two office days in Kraków.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as software engineer, working with modern programming languages and willingness to code in Python/Scala
- Experience with data engineering
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferrably AWS) or willingness to learn it
- Strong problem-solving skills - you take initiative and think critically
- Ownership mindset - you take responsibility for your work and align with teams & stakeholders
- Familiarity with best testing practices (unit, integration, end-to-end)
- Great communicator - you value open discussions, give and receive feedback, and enjoy teamwork
- Polish language is required
Desired Qualifications
