Job Summary
Software Engineer to implement features and deliver high-quality DoD applications. Develop user stories, write tests, and support Agile development cycles with a focus on collaboration and quality. Work with modern development frameworks, cloud environments, and DevSecOps pipelines to build scalable, secure systems. Responsibilities include implementing stories using Angular/React/Java and other tools, applying Test-Driven Development and pair programming, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Git, Tanzu), supporting MySQL 8.0 database development, participating in Agile ceremonies, documenting implementation in Confluence, managing container pipelines within Tanzu, collaborating with cybersecurity teams to address POA&M requirements, and supporting networking tasks (BigIP F5, VPN, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, SFTP). A DoD environment background, strong Agile product delivery, hands-on CI/CD pipeline management, and infrastructure security are preferred. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Experience in Agile development (Scrum/XP/Lean)
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and DevSecOps
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
- U.S Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance
