Software Engineer (Voice)

Job Summary
Contribute to voice solutions from start to finish, collaborating across teams to iteratively ship value in distributed microservices and full-stack systems. Work with product owners to create solutions that deliver communication power at scale, driving innovation within the Voice team. Own code and apps fully end-to-end, from design through production monitoring, while using AI effectively across the development lifecycle to innovate and add customer value. Review AI-generated code with the same rigor as human-written code regarding security, style, and compliance. This role sits at the intersection of application logic and real network infrastructure, processing billions of calls monthly. You will join an engineering-led organization focused on creating safe, scalable, and resilient automation for carrier infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of 2+ years of experience designing web services and service-oriented architectures in a modern programming language (Java, C#, or Go)
- Hands on experience with AI
- An understanding of IP networking and protocols, HTTP, and REST
- Experience with test automation patterns and frameworks
- familiarity with relational and non-relational database systems
- Solid written and verbal communication skills in English
- A 4-year technical degree or equivalent experience
Desired Qualifications
- Have designed and built AI Agents
- experience with AWS or another cloud platform, and you 'get' how scalable cloud applications are engineered
- worked with Docker containers and Kubernetes
