Software Engineer

Software Engineer to join Valinor Reflex building computer vision and wearable systems on embedded hardware. You will deploy ML models on resource-constrained devices, evaluate and customize Open Source models, apply quantization and MLOps practices, and build/train models for customer use cases. You’ll develop intuitive frontend UI across platforms, manage user interaction with Reflex products, and collaborate with hardware teams. The role includes hardware integration and embedded software work: writing low-level code, drivers, and wireless protocols (WiFi, Bluetooth) to ensure robust communication across embedded systems. Travel occasionally and work in a startup environment. Candidates should have strong experience in embedded systems, microcontrollers, Linux development, and hardware-constrained ML, with the ability to prototype quickly and collaborate with hardware in lab settings. The position requires eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (active clearance preferred).
