Job Summary
Build reporting platforms and dashboards that ensure compliance and precision in asset vs. liability reconciliation. Develop automated systems to generate journal and ledger entries into ERP and treasury platforms, eliminating manual accounting work. Implement real-time monitoring and anomaly detection to catch issues before they impact financial flows. Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Data, and Compliance to transform domain-heavy requirements into scalable technical solutions. Detect and resolve mismatches across internal and external financial systems while maintaining accuracy for hundreds of millions in financial flows.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails or Golang
- Strong data analysis skills: BigQuery, SQL optimization, dbt, and familiarity with OLTP/OLAP tradeoffs
- SQL and database design expertise
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience in a microservices architecture
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
Desired Qualifications
- familiarity with Agile, fintech, or financial systems
- Experience integrating ERP finance modules
- Experience with digital wallets, bank payment rails, or blockchain
- Knowledge of financial audit and reporting principles
