Job Summary
Develop and maintain software packages for analyzing and managing large scientific and engineering datasets using Python, C, and C++. Contribute to making the internally developed engineering codebase more usable, maintainable, and deployable while working on several diverse projects simultaneously over 1 to 3 year cycles. Build and maintain GUIs across Windows and Linux environments, with a focus on hardware-software interfaces for data collection, motion control, and automation. This role is based on-site in southwest Austin, Texas, and requires a mandatory US DoD security clearance. Candidates must possess expertise in C, C++, and Python, along with a strong background in mathematics and algorithm development.
Required Qualifications
- Software development and programming in both C, C++, and Python
- GUI development
- Development in both Windows and Linux environments
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science
- Eligible for DoD security clearance
- The ability to obtain a US DoD security clearance

- Software development within a cybersecurity maturity model certification (CMMC) level 2 environment
