Job Summary
Software Engineer – Team Lead responsible for leading development, support, and delivery of Gentrack products by designing solutions, mentoring team members and other developers across the group, and leading by example in agile software development. Responsibilities include analyzing customer requests, producing solution artefacts, peer reviewing designs, developing and supporting software, producing knowledge-transfer documentation, participating in planning and ceremonies, providing internal/external customer training and support, identifying and mitigating risk, leading projects across waterfall or agile approaches, driving improvements to practices, and advising customers on best practices and business/operational strategies. The role requires 8+ years of experience, senior development experience, and strong technical and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of commercial software development experience
- Experience in senior development positions
- Designing solutions in agile SDLC
- 5+ years working knowledge of CRM and Billing Systems
- Strong working knowledge of Object Oriented Design, Enterprise Database, AWS, GIT, Web Services, CRM, Utilities industry, SDLC and Agile Methodologies
- Can do attitude
