Job Summary
Develop software solutions for the T-Mobile web shop experience (checkout flows, cart, and purchase flows) with front-end and full-stack features. Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver technologies that power scalable, high-availability systems, and create clear documentation for code and designs. Contribute to technology strategy and innovation, present ideas to improve systems, and work on other duties as assigned. Build and maintain features using TypeScript, Node.js, REST/GraphQL, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Svelte/Alpine.js) to support a high-traffic e-commerce platform. Emphasis on delivering robust software, telemetry, and quality through testing (Playwright) and CI/CD pipelines.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4+ years technical engineering experience (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years related work experience OR advanced degree with 1 year related work experience OR combination deemed equivalent (Required)
- Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or Engineering (Required)
- TypeScript proficiency
- Front-end development for high-availability, high-traffic applications
- Experience with commerce systems and e-commerce platforms
- REST and GraphQL API integration
- Node.js (API layer/server-side)
- End-to-end testing with Playwright
- GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Git version control
