Job Summary
Build a competitive in-house trading platform and its underlying infrastructure by creating execution and connectivity tooling. Dig into market data to test trading strategies, then adjust both tooling and strategy as the fast-moving market evolves. Maintain a Linux R&D setup with version control while applying strong applied maths, stats, or numerical modelling to solve problems independently. Join a small, tight-knit Zug team known for quick feedback loops between ideas and live deployment in a flat, collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- a strong base in applied maths, stats, or numerical modelling
- a solid grasp of digital assets
- fluency in a systems-level or specialised programming language
- comfortable in a Linux R&D setup with version control
- happy figuring things out independently
- strong English
Desired Qualifications
- experience in newer, tech-native corners of the financial markets
- knowledge of distributed ledger architecture
- time spent in a quant or systematic trading environment
- smart contract design
- applied cryptography
