Job Summary
Lead the design and development of new microservices in Node.js to replace a mission-critical monolith; build serverless applications and event-driven systems on AWS; collaborate with product, operations, and senior leadership to translate business workflows into scalable technical solutions; improve reliability, performance, and observability across the platform; contribute to architectural decisions, coding standards, and modernization strategy; support and gradually deprecate legacy .NET components as new services come online.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong backend fundamentals and experience with Node.js (or willingness to ramp quickly)
- Familiarity with C#/.NET is a plus
- Experience with AWS, serverless frameworks, or event-driven architectures
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, API design, and cloud-native patterns
