Job Summary
Blockchain Backend Engineer role within the Blockchain Backend Infrastructure team focused on building and maintaining the Fireblocks blockchain management platform. Responsibilities include implementing modern backend applications in a microservices architecture, diving into blockchain technologies, integrating external protocols, and supporting wallet infrastructure. Collaboration with developers and foundations, on-call incident response, and contributing to production reliability. Skills/experience include 5+ years backend development (Go, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript), 3+ years blockchain development, high-scale distributed systems, microservices/API design, knowledge of consensus mechanisms and cryptographic primitives, security best practices for smart contracts, and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm. Preferred: enterprise blockchain solutions, MPC or advanced cryptography, AI tools in development, and a Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering. Office locations listed in Prague, Tel Aviv, Warsaw, and Belgrade with local remote options not indicated.
