Job Summary
Join the Blockchain Backend Infrastructure team to build and maintain Fireblocks’ blockchain management platform. You’ll implement modern backend applications in a microservices architecture, deepen knowledge of blockchain protocols, and act as a technical bridge between on-chain capabilities and wallet features for customers. Responsibilities include researching blockchain technologies, integrating external protocol patterns, supporting production reliability through on-call and post-incident follow-ups, and collaborating with developers and other roles. Skills in Go/Python/TypeScript, distributed systems, cryptography, and security best practices for blockchain systems are essential; experience with Docker/Kubernetes/Helm and enterprise blockchain solutions is preferred. Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field is expected.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years backend development experience in Go, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript
- 3+ years blockchain development experience
- Experience with high-scale distributed systems
- Understanding of microservices architecture and API design
- Knowledge of consensus mechanisms, cryptographic primitives, and distributed systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
