Job Summary
Design, build, test, deploy, and monitor cloud-native applications across diverse technology stacks while collaborating with product and engineering teams. Write clean, maintainable code, automated tests, and technical documentation, and evolve RESTful APIs and event-driven services with a focus on scalability and reliability. Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including technical design, implementation, code review, and production support, ensuring end-to-end quality through thorough testing and peer review. Troubleshoot production systems using observability platforms and leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve engineering quality.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with one or more modern programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Java, React, or TypeScript
- Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS using services such as Lambda, S3, RDS, or similar
- Experience with SQL, relational databases, Git-based development workflows, and infrastructure as code using AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar tools
- Experience monitoring and troubleshooting production systems using observability platforms such as Datadog, Amazon CloudWatch, or similar tools
- Enthusiasm for AI-assisted software development and an interest in using tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar to improve engineering productivity
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies while contributing across multiple products and codebases
- You have a strong academic record (CS degree preferred but not required with relevant experience)
- You have a minimum of 3-5 years of professional full-stack development experience (6+ years for a Sr. SWE) using NodeJS, ReactJS, Python, or Java, along with proficiency in industry-standard programming languages and frameworks
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and RDS, and interfacing with real-time databases
- Authorization to work in the U.S. is required to be considered
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Amazon Bedrock Agents, is a plus
