Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer in PNC's Enterprise Technology organization, based in Pittsburgh, PA or Birmingham, AL. Responsible for production and application support to ensure system stability and business continuity, including monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions. Performs application maintenance, patching, and enablement, coordinates vendor updates, and ensures alignment with operational standards and release processes. Works with API integrations, SQL queries, and Oracle databases; produces technical documentation and supports software design, testing, and deployment activities.
Required Qualifications
- University degree (Bachelor's or higher) with 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience
- Experience in production and application support, incident response, and root-cause analysis
- Experience with Dynatrace, API traces, logs, SQL, and Oracle databases
- Experience with patches, deployments, and release processes
- Ability to document designs and technical procedures
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of security requirements and operational standards
