Job Summary
Create API solutions for internal and external web services to store and expose data ingested or generated by radiologists using test-driven development. Build performant services to manage large data transfers and architect end-to-end solutions while collaborating with designers, product managers, and researchers. Mentor team members on design techniques, run code reviews, and customize feedback to create innovative solutions that align with quarterly roadmaps. Focus on performance optimization and cost-effective trade-offs to ensure reliable data handling for the radiology workflow. This hybrid role in Cincinnati, OH or Burlington, VT requires 3+ days onsite weekly.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with Python or similar object oriented language (Python3 preferred)
- 1+ years API design experience
- 1+ years Database experience (SQL or NOSQL)
- Experience with performance and optimization problems, particularly at large scale, and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including writing Docs and RFCs
- Ability to determine the trade offs of multiple solutions and choose the appropriate one given the business needs
- This is a hybrid role working out of our Cincinnati, OH or Burlington, VT office a minimum of 3 days each week
