Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain low-latency, real-time back-end applications that support equities and options market infrastructure. Own the full software development lifecycle from requirements and design through testing, deployment, and production support. Partner with product managers and cross-functional teams globally to translate business needs into reliable, high-quality software solutions. Conduct code reviews and contribute to design discussions, upholding engineering standards and best practices. Document software functionality and support ongoing maintenance to ensure system stability and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of experience as a back-end software engineer
- Strong proficiency in Java and Springboot
- Experience with RESTful APIs, relational databases, and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with build, version control, and continuous integration and delivery practices
- Strong problem-solving skills in a dynamic, production environment
- Preferred: Experience with Kotlin or other JVM-based languages
- Preferred: Background in cloud infrastructure or container-based deployment environments
- Preferred: Prior exposure to financial markets, fintech, or regulated technology environments
