Job Summary
In the role of Senior Software Engineer, you will develop full-stack solutions in an agile environment, conducting comprehensive software development from initial vision to production-ready applications. Key responsibilities include resolving complex client challenges through innovative architectural approaches, utilizing C++, Python, MySQL or MariaDB, and collaborating with development teams to ensure robust version control via Git or GitLab. You will also be tasked with creating and implementing testing protocols to validate functionality and performance, demanding proficiency in both live and regression testing. The position mandates a high school diploma or equivalent alongside significant software engineering experience or a relevant bachelor’s degree.
Required Qualifications
- Experience developing software in C++
- Experience writing Python scripts and performing basic data processing with Python
- Experience developing applications using MySQL or MariaDB
- Experience performing software version control using the configuration control tool Git or GitLab
- Experience designing and implementing test harnesses for both live and regression testing
- Experience testing functionality, including capability and GUI testing
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED and 11+ years of experience in software engineering, or Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in software engineering
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of PHP
- Knowledge of testing techniques and JUnit or CppUnit
- Knowledge of containers
