Job Summary
Software Engineer – Secure Networks & Protocols (Associate or Experienced) to join Boeing’s Training Systems Software team in Oklahoma City. Responsible for developing, documenting, and maintaining architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems; designing and integrating secure network and protocol software; integrating KC-46 lab software into new lab facilities; scripting to support automated testing; and collaborating across Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments. Focus areas include network stack protocols, secure network integration, end-to-end lifecycle development, test procedures, and software/system integration within an agile workflow. Opportunity for long-term growth into technical leadership or management within a collaborative, on-site team.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Object Oriented Design and Programming
- 1+ years of experience with networks and network communication protocols (VLAN, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, etc.)
- 1+ years of experience in software systems integration
- Experience with Linux/Unix software development environment
