Job Summary
Software Engineer (SDK) at Lumin Digital is responsible for addressing a wide range of software development needs, including traditional product development, internal and external solution consulting, client project scoping and bidding, SDK and API support for external developers, and assisting the sales organization with technical demos to prospects. The role involves onboarding new SDK users (virtual or onsite), providing external SDK support and code reviews, estimating development projects, collaborating with product owners to formulate statements of work, adapting product development across backend and frontend for numerous integrations, delivering solution consulting to clients, writing well-designed and maintainable code, collaborating with product management, implementations, customer support, and sales, supporting production operations, contributing to a high-performing team, and driving change with the Atlassian suite. Travel is minimal (12 days or less per year). Remote in the United States is indicated as the locations hint.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of experience in engineering, architecture, with client-facing experience
- Experience with SaaS platforms with an SDK and deep API integration projects
- Experience with microservice architecture
- Familiarity with Docker
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Strong object-oriented programming skills in TypeScript, C#, Java, or similar languages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive troubleshooting
