Job Summary
Design and implement robust software solutions that accelerate research workflows and improve data analysis capabilities while leading technical decision-making for key projects. Set technical standards, advocate for best engineering practices, and mentor junior engineers to build a strong engineering culture. Collaborate with product teams and scientists to optimize workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and drive adoption of cloud-native architectures using AWS, GCP, or Azure. You will work in a hybrid environment (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) in Paris, France, leveraging experience in JavaScript, Node.js, React, and microservice design. This role sits within Sanofi Accelerator's R&D, where Digital & Data are central to revolutionizing drug development and delivering medicines faster.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience (or equivalent knowledge)
- Experience with one or more of the major cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Infrastructure as Code – Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar
- Proficiency in JavaScript / Node.js
- Proficiency in React or similar framework
- Experience building and maintaining microservice architectures, designing APIs, and cloud security best practices knowledge
- CI/CD practices and DevOps principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
