Job Summary
This role involves supporting and improving the cold end host system and associated MMI programs through hardware maintenance, issue troubleshooting, and program enhancements. Key responsibilities include managing configuration and communication between line PLCs and host control software, developing system documentation, collaborating with engineering teams, and proactively addressing customer needs. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and experience with various programming languages and MMI concepts. Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree (or equivalent technical experience) is required.
- Programming experience with C, Visual Basic .NET, PostGreSQL, SQL, PERL, Linux (Fedora Server Edition), PLC Communication protocols, Basic HTML
- Familiarity with Rockwell Studio 5000
- Ability to understand customer requirements and translate those into innovative solutions
- Proficiency in MS office, MS Teams, Sharepoint
- Experience in line control, automation and MMI
- Effective communication skills
