Job Summary
Based in Redwood City and working in person with the engineering team, the Software Engineer will ship features end-to-end across a Go backend, a TypeScript/React web app, and React Native mobile apps for independent supply-store clients. You’ll own small, clearly-scoped projects (typically 1–3 weeks), dive deep into your pod’s part of the product, and collaborate with PMs and tech leads. Responsibilities include researching client workflows by talking to stores, writing design docs, reviewing teammates’ code, and helping improve team processes. This role is suited for someone 1–3 years into their career who can communicate with clients, contribute across the stack, and thrive in a hands-on, mentorship-driven environment in the Redwood City office.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of professional software engineering experience
- Solid command of computer-science fundamentals
- Fluency in at least one production language (Go or TypeScript/React etc.)
- Comfort shipping features end-to-end and debugging across the stack
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Bay Area and able to work in person 4 days a week in Redwood City
