Job Summary
Develop and maintain software packages for the analysis of DNA high-throughput sequencing data, focusing on data processing algorithms and computation challenges in genome technologies. Collaborate with software quality assurance engineers to evaluate algorithms and improve products, while working closely with data scientists to troubleshoot experimental methods. Design and build infrastructure for data management and analysis, ensuring compliance with ISO/FDA standards for IVD-related software. Leverage proficiency in Python, SQL, Linux, and cloud computing to support core technology and product development within a fast-paced startup environment dedicated to making precision medicine accessible.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Experience programming in a professional environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python or other scripting languages
- Familiarity with SQL and databases
- Willingness to work hard and be creative in a fast-paced environment
- Work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues
- Proficiency in Linux and cloud computing
