Job Summary
Software Engineer, Risk Technology — Build a scalable reporting framework capable of processing terabytes of data for complex risk calculations and develop quantitative risk and performance analytics. Contribute to innovation to deliver high quality products to business partners, applying creative solutions to solve complex problems. The role requires strong programming in Python and/or functional languages, understanding of equity factor models, experience in quantitative environments, and excellent communication and collaboration with peers and clients.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ programming experience in Python and/or one of functional languages
- Strong understanding of equity factor models and their constructions and applications (e.g., MSCI Barra, Axioma, Bloomberg)
- Training in computer science, math, physics or related technical field
- Programming experience in a quantitative environment with statistic models or complex aggregations
- Awesome team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills with peers and clients
- Problem solving skills with deep understanding of core computer science algorithms and data structures
- Demonstrated track record and hands-on experience in financial instrument modeling, particularly within the equity space
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
