Software Engineer - Refresh

Job Summary
Full-stack Software Engineer to join the founding engineering team at ReFresh. You’ll work across the entire stack (SvelteKit frontend, Go backend, Postgres database) building compliance workflows, improving UX, and shipping complete product features end-to-end. Responsibilities include implementing features from database to UI, refining risk registers and framework tracking, evidence management, reporting dashboards, bug fixes driven by customer feedback, UI/UX polish, design system implementation, and third-party integrations. Must be comfortable with TypeScript day-to-day and able to read/write Go, delivering features with an ownership mindset and a focus on quality in a startup, Australia-based environment.
Required Qualifications
- TypeScript proficiency (SvelteKit frontend, Tailwind CSS, shadcn-svelte)
- Ability to work across the stack (Go backend) or any typed backend language
- Ship complete features end-to-end (database to UI)
- Ownership mindset: take task from start to finish, ask questions early, thorough testing
- Attention to quality: clean commits, meaningful PR descriptions, production cleanliness
- 1–3 years of professional experience (or equivalent)
