Job Summary
Develop cloud-specific solutions to optimize efficiency, cost, and maturity using boto3 and Google Workspace. Implement tagging strategies and policies to allocate cloud costs to specific business units, projects, or teams. Develop and maintain reporting pulling financial data from the cloud stack to provide financial models forecasting spending based on current usage in AWS. Establish and enforce cloud governance policies controlling costs while ensuring compliance with security and operational standards. Facilitate infrastructure to support automation pipelines in product development teams using Vagrant, Ansible, and Amazon Elastic Container Service. This telecommuting role supports Red Hat's enterprise open source software solutions across Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber-Physical Systems or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related role
- Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber-Physical Systems or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related role
- One (1) year of experience with OpenShift development
- One (1) year of experience with Ansible development, including Ansible Automation Platform
- One (1) year of experience with AWS development, including ECS, CloudWatch, and EventBridge
- One (1) year of experience with Linux, including RHEL
- One (1) year of experience with Jira, including Scrum and Agile development
- One (1) year of experience with data processing and visualization, including Numpy, Google Sheet
- One (1) year of experience with Git
- Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S.
