Job Summary
Role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and supporting software components within Mastercard’s Real Time Payments (RTP) platforms. Responsibilities include delivering end-to-end features using microservices/event-driven architectures, ensuring high code quality, automated testing, secure coding, production reliability, observability, and participation in production releases. Collaboration across Product, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams with growth toward increased ownership and complexity; emphasis on delivering robust, scalable backend systems in a fast-paced, agile environment; prior experience with Java/Spring, APIs, messaging systems, data persistence, CI/CD, and cloud/containerized environments is preferred, with payments/regulatory experience a plus.
