Job Summary
Software Engineer to support Joint Electromagnetic Warfare Center (JEWC) with semantic web integration for a SaaS portal. Responsible for SPARQL query development, RDF/OWL graph databases, knowledge graph construction, and data integration pipelines. Collaborates with government stakeholders, participates in Agile SDLC, and ensures secure software practices. Must have 5+ years in software engineering, Bachelor's degree in a related STEM field, and U.S. citizenship with TS/SCI eligibility. Proficient in Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#, and experienced with GraphDB/Stardog/Neo4j RDF plugins; knowledge of HTTP-based web services and ontology-driven modeling.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM field
- Active TS Clearance with ability to receive SCI
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with software development lifecycle and methodologies
- Prior experience in SPARQL query development and graph database technologies (e.g., RDF, OWL, or similar)
- Prior experience supporting the integration of semantic web technologies into the SaaS portal, enabling advanced data querying, relationship mapping, and knowledge graph construction
- Experience constructing and querying knowledge graphs
- Hands-on experience with graph databases (e.g. GraphDB, Stardog, Neo4j with RDF plugins, or similar triple stores)
- Experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C#
- Familiarity with data description languages such as XML, YAML, JSON, and JSON-LD
Desired Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Experience with government or DoD programs
- Familiarity with DoD or EMSO programs
- Secure software development practices
- Experience with XML/YAML/JSON/JSON-LD for data exchange
