Job Summary
Software Engineer for an R&D Hardware Tooling team developing internal lab and engineering-workflow tooling. Own software and embedded layers for automation, fixture control (SCPI/VISA, serial, USB, GPIB, Ethernet), and hardware-in-the-loop tooling. Responsibilities include design of modular automation frameworks (Python), embedded firmware for MCU-based fixtures (C/C++ on ARM Cortex-M, RTOS/bare-metal), HIL development and integration into CI pipelines, data acquisition and analysis, bring-up and debugging utilities, and collaboration with hardware, mechanical, and product software teams. Preferred background includes drone/UAV or RF/telecom hardware experience; candidates should demonstrate strong software automation, hardware testing, and documentation skills. Location: Paris, Île-de-France, France (in-person).
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent
