Job Summary
Software Engineer focused on quality, automation, and release validation for mission-critical payment systems. Responsible for designing and evolving automated API and component-level test frameworks in TypeScript, building tests against real infrastructure, maintaining integration and contract testing, expanding Playwright-based E2E coverage for critical workflows, and enabling local and CI-based test execution in containerized environments. Collaborates with software engineers to embed automated testing into development and deployment processes, leveraging production telemetry to inform test coverage and failure-detection strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Strong TypeScript experience
- Deep experience with Jest or equivalent modern test frameworks
- Experience designing and maintaining test frameworks and automation infrastructure
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and event-driven systems
- Working knowledge of AWS-based architectures (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB)
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
