Job Summary
Build products that bring AI capabilities to millions of users by designing and implementing intuitive, responsive, and performant user interfaces. Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility across complex features including tool use, multi-step reasoning, code generation, and file management. You will own and ship a project in Julius during a short paid work trial spanning 2-3 days. This role sits within a small technical team with experience from Uber, Facebook, and Scale AI, focusing on enabling software creators through data science and analysis use cases.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with React
- 3+ years of experience with Next.js
- 3+ years of experience with Tailwind CSS
- Strong understanding of frontend primitives: component architecture, state management, streaming UIs, and performance profiling
- Experience scaling applications and backend systems
- Experience with relational databases
- Experience with caching
- Experience with background jobs
- Experience with auth
- Examples of live projects or products you've built
Desired Qualifications
- Experience building an AI side project
- Experience with prompting and playing with LLMs
