Job Summary
Build and maintain the integration layer connecting applications to customer systems like PACS, RIS, and EHRs using DICOM and HL7 protocols. Onboard with new clients to understand their systems and implement optimal custom integrations. Develop internal applications for case assignment distribution, radiologist peer reviews, and business analytics. Proactively identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities to improve operations. Manage medium-to-large projects independently by making deep design decisions based on functional and technical domain knowledge. Partner directly with internal and external technical and non-technical stakeholders to build intuitive, user-centric solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience developing user-facing software applications
- Deep proficiency in modern web application technologies for the frontend (e.g., TypeScript, React) and backend services, with a strong understanding of web architecture; especially in interactive and real-time applications with performance considerations
- Experience in building products that customers love
- Experience operating in a startup or startup-like environment, i.e. a small, fast-moving team with high autonomy

- A strong, independent contributor who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, works in uncharted territory, and also has curiosity to learn a complex business area
- Skill in quickly understanding systems design tradeoffs and keeping track of rapidly evolving software systems, working through trade-offs, and balancing competing priorities
