Job Summary
Software Engineer to join Asana's Product team in Vancouver (Early Career). Build end-to-end features, deliver technical designs, and lead initiatives while collaborating with UI designers and infrastructure. You will participate in code reviews, mentor peers, help shape the long-term roadmap and technical strategy for the evolving product suite, and contribute to a culture focused on robust engineering standards and operational health. Recently graduated or about to graduate in summer 2026 with a CS/Software Engineering degree and 1+ year of software engineering experience preferred. The role is hybrid in Vancouver, Canada, with a base CAD salary range of CAD 117k-130k plus potential equity and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Recently graduated (or are about to graduate in summer 2026) with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Holds foundational experience, ideally 1+ year of working in software engineering environments, such as technical internships, co-ops, or early career roles
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and programming concepts
- Possesses a growth mindset, looking for an environment to empower teammates and move collaboratively toward shared goals
- Exhibits empathetic collaboration with the ability to partner effectively across different roles and engineering functions
- Shows a track record of being a fast learner who is excited to contribute to product development and grow technical skills from day one
- Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making
