Job Summary
Join Base Power as a product-focused Frontend Engineer to design and build customer-facing features for web and mobile apps, such as onboarding, energy dashboards, and outage management. This role requires 6+ years of experience in product or full-stack engineering, expertise in TypeScript and SPA frameworks like React, and a strong track record of end-to-end feature ownership. You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to enhance usability, define frontend architecture, and directly contribute to product strategy.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years experience in product / full-stack engineering
- Deep expertise in TypeScript and modern SPA frameworks (React, Next.js, etc.)
- Track record of end-to-end ownership -- ideation, backend/API integration, UI implementation, and iteration post-launch
- Familiar with product analytics, A/B testing, and using data to guide decisions
- Technical excellence in software
- Ability to think from the customer perspective
- Grit and first principles thinking
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with mobile frameworks (React Native or native iOS/Android)
- Experience with real-time data visualization
- Experience in the energy/IoT domains
