Software Engineer

Software Engineer to join an international team in Vantaa, developing and maintaining Windows desktop software for microbiology products in a regulated IVDR environment. You will design and build high-quality software, participate in modernization efforts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, testers, architects, project managers, and quality/regulatory teams. Responsibilities include ensuring documentation, traceability, verification and validation, and cybersecurity expectations, while leveraging modern tools and AI-based engineering workflows. Candidates should have experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications (Windows) using C#/.NET or Java, strong engineering fundamentals, and clear communication in English (Finnish preferred). A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience is expected, with additional assets such as experience in healthcare software, clinical microbiology, laboratory workflows, cloud/web/mobile/connected systems, and DevOps/test automation. The role offers remote work flexibility and is based in Finland (Vantaa/Joensuu) with on-site responsibilities as part of an international team.
