Job Summary
Mid-level full-stack Software Engineer at Serasa Experian (Experian Careers) responsible for Java/Spring back-end and Angular or React front-end tasks, including unit, integration, and acceptance testing, and CI/CD with Jenkins. Contributes to OpenAPI workflows, code quality with SonarQube, and security tooling (Veracode or Checkmarx). Participates in co-development with Brazil (Credit Decisioning) and collaborates with global stakeholders, building testing and deployment literacy and advancing the team's automation capabilities. Progresses toward more independent features with mentoring, and adheres to GenAI usage policies with senior review. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and readiness to travel to São Carlos, SP when needed; hybrid remote work is available from São Paulo."
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong fundamentals in Java and Spring Boot
- Full-stack capability with Angular or React (paired development with mentoring)
- Experience with testing (unit, integration, and acceptance automation)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
- OpenAPI specifications
- SonarQube and security tooling (Veracode or Checkmarx)
- AWS and container orchestration (EKS)
- Ability to collaborate with international teams (Brazil as lead region)
- Willingness to travel to São Carlos/SP when needed
- GenAI tooling under policy guidance
