Platform Software Engineer to design and build internal developer tooling, templates, and scaffolding to make software development easier; build and maintain CI/CD pipelines; own infrastructure-as-code for the platform layer; collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver tooling that improves developer experience and productivity; establish patterns and standards for internal teams to build on; role emphasizes tooling, automation, and release practices rather than traditional DevOps; UK remote with occasional London HQ days; benefits package and career growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Strong software engineering foundations in at least one language
- Experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
- Experience with IaC (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or CDK)
- Comfort with containerised workloads in production
- AWS experience is a strong plus
- Understanding of testing (unit/integration/contract) as part of shipping software
- Ability to collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders
