Software Engineer (Platform)

Own authentication across algo1, retailer, brand employees, shoppers, devices, agents, and third-party services alongside RBAC and ReBAC authorisation. Develop and maintain reliable, consistent automated release cycles that get changes to production safely and quickly. Manage environments supporting prototyping features across Android and web applications alongside backend microservice changes. Gatekeep the quality of APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architecture in an open contributor model. Continually improve internal agentic harnesses for skills, context, and tooling, adding agentic automation to the platform stack without compromising quality. This office-based role in London requires distributed systems experience, API design fluency, and real-time data processing skills.
