Job Summary
Software Engineer (Pegasystems) responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining Pegasystems-based software experiences. The role takes full stack ownership by writing production-ready and testable code, adhering to architectural best practices with emphasis on scalability, reliability, and performance, and ensuring customer-focused outcomes. The engineer participates in code reviews, supports compliance and security best practices, and contributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within a banking technology transformation. Required skills include five-plus years of experience with Pega Infinity 8.x (CSSA or higher preferred), DevOps CI/CD pipelines, Java or .NET, Tomcat and IBM WebSphere administration and tuning, Web Services / WSDL / SOAP / JMS (preferably via Tibco), REST and GraphQL, database experience with IBM UDB and PostgreSQL, AWS integrations (IVR, Screen-Pop, chat, softphone), and agile methodology experience. Secondary skills include Pega Customer Decision Hub, event-driven architectures (Kafka), and cloud-native deployments (AWS/Azure/PegaCloud) with containerized deployments and Ansible scripting.
