Job Summary
Software Engineer, Payments Infrastructure responsible for designing the secure-capture protocol behind multi-channel payment flows, building and extending the tokenization platform with per-token encryption, and owning the security perimeter around the cardholder-data environment. Role emphasizes enabling processor-agnostic payments, self-serve developer capabilities, and scalable, auditable security across distributed systems. Requires 7+ years of backend/infrastructure experience, fluency in Go, and a CS-related degree or equivalent experience. Preferred experience includes regulated data domains (payments, PCI, tokenization, PHI), cryptography, voice/telephony, real-time media pipelines, and building platforms for other engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years building backend, platform, or infrastructure systems with a track record of shipping and operating high-reliability services in production at a strong engineering organization
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
