Software Engineer

Design, build, and maintain robust backend APIs and services using Python to power the core application layer of ReviewAI. Partner closely with frontend engineers to integrate backend logic with frontend systems built on TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular, and Nest.js. Write, optimize, and manage database interactions with MySQL and NoSQL technologies ensuring high performance and data integrity. Assist in deploying, scaling, and managing applications using Docker and Kubernetes within an AWS cloud environment. Maintain high code quality through code reviews, comprehensive unit tests, and CI/CD practices. Collaborate with senior data/software engineers to integrate large language model (LLM) orchestration tools like LangChain or Claude Code into the application ecosystem. What We’re Looking For: 3+ years of professional software development with Python and strong knowledge of TypeScript; experience building and maintaining APIs in a service-oriented architecture; experience with relational and NoSQL databases and data transformations; working knowledge of AWS and CI/CD processes; ability to learn new technologies and maintain clean code and tests; comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment; experience in finance/back-office domains is a plus.
