Job Summary
Software Engineer to contribute to Nuro’s Onboard Systems, Performance, or Devices Platform. You will join a growing software team to build and optimize onboard software that enables autonomy across self-driving platforms, focusing on high-performance, reliable integration with hardware and safety teams. Key areas include onboard systems integration, performance optimization to reduce latency, and device/platform software for sensor and compute pipelines. You will work with C++ (and Python), contribute to large-scale distributed systems, robotics software frameworks, and various compute modalities (x86, ARM, GPU, FPGA), and collaborate with hardware, perception, and autonomy teams to ensure safe, efficient operation of the Nuro Driver stack. The role emphasizes problem-solving, software performance tuning, and tooling support for validation and testing. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related field
- 2+ years of relevant industry experience
