Job Summary
Design, test, review, maintain, and deploy VueJS frontend and Django-Python backend software for internal user-facing applications. Integrate with existing data pipelines and models while collaborating with UI/UX designers to translate Figma concepts into functional interfaces. Improve test coverage across apps and perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices. Work with DevOps and data science teams to enhance the core internal web and data platform. This role supports the DataOps Engineering team at Octus, a global credit intelligence provider, building applications that enable professionals across finance and law to make faster decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering
- 2-3 years experience in application development and deployment
- Proven expertise with VueJS and Django-Python
- Proven experience with relational databases
- Familiarity with DevOps and agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of AWS and REST APIs
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
