Job Summary
Design and develop the next generation of Data Platform features for on-prem and cloud. Participate in data modeling discussions and influence data products roadmap. Work across all components of a big data platform including API gateway, message bus, databases, and abstraction layers. Propose and drive adoption of best practices for operationalizing data platforms (data catalog, tracing, configuration-driven changes). Implement data engineering by authoring Jobs via Apache Spark. Collaborate with development, test, documentation, and product management teams to deliver high-quality products. Join a team of engineers across India and the US in a hybrid environment, contributing to an observability platform and analytics capabilities for Nutanix Cloud Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related fields
- Experience with Python, Scala, Java, or Golang
- Experience with database technologies and optimizing workloads
- Experience with Big Data technologies and Kubernetes ecosystem
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) a plus
- Hybrid work arrangement in specified locations
