Job Summary
Architect and oversee the design of state-of-the-art DSP solutions in C++ for real-time NSA signal processing projects. Lead implementation efforts, optimize existing codebases for performance, and conduct high-level reviews of designs and testing methodologies to maintain mission-critical quality standards. Act as the primary technical liaison with cross-functional teams, including system architects, project managers, and NSA stakeholders, while driving innovation through research into emerging DSP technologies. Provide mentorship to junior engineers and champion a culture of excellence within the team. This role requires full-time onsite presence at the Fort Meade, MD facility, with remote work unavailable.
Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or four additional years of SWE experience in lieu of a degree)
- Minimum 7+ years of software engineering experience, with demonstrated expertise in DSP
- Proficiency in designing and modifying DSP implementations in C++
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or four additional years of SWE experience in lieu of a degree)
- Minimum 14+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on DSP
- Advanced proficiency in C++ and DSP software design principles
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or four additional years of SWE experience in lieu of a degree)
- Minimum 20+ years of software engineering experience, with extensive DSP expertise
- Mastery in DSP algorithm design, implementation, and optimization using C++
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
Desired Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of synchronous digital sampling and timestamping techniques
- Familiarity with modulation techniques, such as high-order angle and amplitude modulation, and spread spectrum systems
- Experience in defense, aerospace, or intelligence DSP applications
- Expertise in high-order modulation techniques, multiplexed signal processing, and precision timestamping
- Familiarity with high-speed DSP system development for defense or intelligence applications
- Experience in leading or managing technical teams
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale DSP projects for defense, aerospace, or intelligence clients
- Expertise in high-order modulation techniques, spread spectrum technology, and high-speed DSP systems
- Proven ability to manage and mentor teams of engineers
