Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer for Government Commercial Cloud Platform in Singapore. Focus on full-stack development using React.js/TypeScript for the frontend and NodeJS/Python for API development. Maintain and automate the CI/CD toolchain (GitLab), and work with Terraform, Docker, and AWS to enable secure, scalable government services. Lead and collaborate within an in-house engineering squad to design, develop, deploy, and operate the Singapore Government Commercial Cloud Platform, and contribute to automation across multiple cloud providers. Emphasis on DevOps practices, automation, availability, scalability, and resiliency; opportunity to build a Self-Service Developer Portal and related tooling; 1-year fixed-term contract with a flexible work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- More than 3 years in Backend (API) and Frontend development
- Proficiency in React.js
- Experience in Python or NodeJS for API development
- Experience in AWS, Terraform, Docker
- Understand cloud infrastructure deployment and automation
- Understand and willing to learn about Infrastructure as Code, Policies as Code and Git
