Job Summary
Software Engineer (.NET) responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications on the .NET platform, with a focus on migrating from .NET Framework to modern .NET 8+ and cloud-native, containerized deployments. Role includes Oracle database integration (PL/SQL), secure coding to meet NIST requirements, and production support in an Agile Scrum environment. Responsibilities include implementing scalable, secure IIS-hosted applications, API-first design, RESTful services, microservices, deployment automation (Ansible experience optional), and CI/CD using GitLab/Jenkins/Nexus. Must work on-site in the DMV area (Crystal City or Rosslyn, VA) with hybrid remote flexibility and hold an active U.S. Government Secret clearance or higher.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and deploying web applications using the .NET framework
- Hands-on experience integrating applications with Oracle databases and developing PL/SQL objects
- Experience with IIS, secure coding practices, and NIST security requirements
- Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus)
- Active U.S. Government Secret clearance or above
- Must reside in the Washington, DC metropolitan (DMV) area and be able to work on-site in Crystal City or Rosslyn, VA as required
