Software Engineer- .Net Developer with Azure

Job Summary
Design, develop, deploy, and maintain .NET applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API; build cloud-based solutions leveraging Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL, and Azure Storage; develop and optimize data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Dataflows, Lakehouse) and implement robust ETL, data modelling, and data warehousing; implement secure authentication/authorization with Azure AD or Identity Server; design and optimize databases (SQL Server/Azure SQL); integrate with Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD; monitor performance with Azure Monitor, App Insights, and Log Analytics; collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment and uphold best practices in coding, architecture, security, cloud-native development, and data engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
- 5–8 years of proven experience as a .NET Developer
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage, Azure SQL, Azure AD, Key Vault)
- Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric, including building and managing data pipelines, dataflows, and Lakehouse’s
- Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts, ETL processes, data modelling, and data warehousing
- Experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards)
- Strong database knowledge (MS SQL Server, Entity Framework, LINQ)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, Docker/Kubernetes is a plus
- Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Preferred: Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep; Experience with unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest); Familiarity with security best practices in cloud applications; Experience with data analytics, Power BI or data visualization tools
