Software Engineer (.Net, Angular)

Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using C#/.NET Core in an AWS cloud environment, contributing to scalable microservices and end-to-end Angular features. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging while utilizing AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and validate outputs for correctness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, DevOps, and QA to deliver integrated solutions, support the modernization of legacy systems, and adhere to engineering best practices in security and performance. This hybrid role requires onsite presence at least 50% of the time at a Diligent office hub.
Required Qualifications
- ~3–5 years of professional software engineering experience in an agile environment
- Strong experience with C# and .NET Core for building RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms and basic serverless concepts
- Experience with SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and basic infrastructure concepts
- Basic understanding of software security best practices (e.g., authentication, secrets handling)
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- If you are within a commuting distance to one of our Diligent office locations, you will be expected to work onsite at least 50% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Angular
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., for coding, debugging, or testing) is a plus, with ability to review outputs critically
